One of our planet's most in-depth, intellectually-stimulating, hands-on 2-day first aid courses with top-rated instructors: empowering graduates with actual care-giving Competence and Confidence to save life and limb during the critical minutes or hours before ambulance/hospital arrival. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Overview

What "Wilderness" means when it comes to first aid timeline, is any time one has to give first aid care and it'll be more than an hour from time of injury or illness, until hospital arrival. We call our course "Disaster + Travel + Wilderness First Aid" (dtWFA), because the skills one learns in a wilderness first aid course are equally applicable in disaster, remote travel, rural living, protest / rally, or ANY situation where 911 help is not immediately available.

In MEDIC SOLO's dtWFA course -- 20 hours instead of the standard 16 -- you will:
  • learn everything you'd learn in the standard SOLO WFA course
  • get more hands-on practice than in a standard-recipe 16-hour course
  • learn many WFA topics in greater depth than usual
  • gain an understanding of how to apply WFA skills in non-wilderness settings, and
  • upon successful completion of course, receive the internationally-renowned SOLO Wilderness First Aid certification card
We guarantee we will meet or exceed your wilderness first aid course expectations in our dtWFA course, even if you're positive a different organization you've taken it with before such as one of the other nationwide wilderness medical schools, was fantastic and you're sure it's not possible to have a better class. We humbly propose that we've created something better, and invite you to come experience the difference. Register here (spaces limited).
